Wesgrow made the decision to become involved in our community as well as in the larger community within South Africa. The opportunity to be involved in the Central Schools sports series was immediately realised as the schools involved make up a large portion of the area we serve in, providing seed to farmers.
The series also gives us the opportunity to get involved with the youth, which is the future of the country. We enjoy the involvement and can see the value added at every school that participates. What is especially important to us. is that the focus is not just put on first teams, but on every child that participates, giving them an equal chance to contribute something to his or her school. We therefore identify with the wider community, meaning, we are not only involved with the biggest farms or first-team players, but with every child who participates in the series.
